In my free time, I am a travel consultant to friends and family. This stems from me being a travel junkie, myself (I have a weakness for pouncing on good deals). I use a combination of frequent flyer miles and hard work scouring the internet to find the best deals. Nothing tops my $267 trip to Brussels on AirCanada (yes, roundtrip!) I love planning trips, particularly international ones (e.g., honeymoon, spring break, etc.).
Feel free to contact me and I'll see if I can help you find your way to your next destination.
Based in Chicago, I am a Senior User Experience (UX) Designer at Slalom, a leading business and technology consulting firm headquartered in Seattle. I have a M.S. in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University and a B.S. in Management Information Systems from DePaul University. My minor in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) served as my window into the whimsical world of User Experience.
I joined the UX workforce with a strong foundation in business analysis and enjoy synergizing the two disciplines through analysis of user behavior, outstanding interaction design, quality assurance and usability testing. From discovery through development, I work with business, creative and technical teams to deliver solutions to challenges that span across industries (e.g., healthcare, travel, entertainment and financial services). I have six years of experience designing for Fortune 500 companies, start-ups, friends and family members, non-profits, colleges and universities. You may view my resume here.
When I'm not designing for clients, I'm usually wandering around a corner of the earth, running a local 10K, or trying my hand at something new in the kitchen. Fellow foodies, unite!
